Important:
SHIPPING TO THE U.S.A. HAS RESTARTED!
Shipping to the U.S.A. has restarted, but due to the new CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) regulations, some items are not able to be shipped to the US. US Customs now requires all items that are considered "toys", "clothing", "jewelry" as well as other items sent to the USA to strictly require a Children's Product Certificate (CPC) or General Certificate of Conformity (GCC) to enter the US. Since PokeVault is not the manufacturer of the products that we sell and the US regulations differ from Japan regulations where the products were originally sold, we are not able to provide these certificates. The Pokemon Center and other manufacturers are also unable to provide the necessary certificates since the products are safety tested for Japan regulations and not US regulations (Even though Japan regulations are totally safe). Safety testing must be done by a 3rd party and costs hundreds and even thousands of dollars per product, so we are unable to get the products safety tested ourselves. What is considered a "childrens product" is not exactly clear, but if the package has an age recommendation under 12 years old, then it is considered for children. The HTS customs clearance codes aksi determine what is a childrens product. Unfortunately the HTS customs code for a "children's toy" and an "adult collectible" are the same code, so its up to the individual customs agent and what the intended use is. Even though Pokemon is collected mostly by teens and adult collectors, Pokemon is considered a childrens product and thus very heavily checked at customs. Since nearly all of the plush toys and figures have Japanese labels for ages 3+, 6+, 9+, etc. they are considered "children's products" which makes proving they are for adult collectors extremely difficult. If the customer cannot prove that the item is for an adult, then the package can be seized and destroyed and the shipper (PokeVault) can face fines or even being blacklisted from shipping to the USA. We want to avoid this happening so we must comply with all USA customs regulations. Therefore some of the items in the categories listed below are currently NOT permitted to be sent to the USA (unless they say for ages 12+ on the packaging).

3) Clothing (socks, hats, slippers are ok. Tshirts are not allowed)
4) Immitation Jewelry (If recommended age is less than 12 years old written on the package)
6) Electric appliances (such as lights, lamps, etc.)
7) Baby items (such as sippy cups, rattles, plush toys)
8) Metal Charms (If recommended age is less than 12 years old written on the package)
9) Keychains (If recommended age is less than 12 years old written on the package)
10) Pin Badges (If recommended age is less than 12 years old written on the package)
11) Bags/Pouches (If recommended age is less than 12 years old written on the package)
12) Some other types too (If recommended age is less than 12 years old written on the package)
If you are in the USA, the products that can be shipped to the USA will show an American flag 
next to the product title.
*** If you are in the USA and using a VPN, the system will not properly block the prohibited items. If you purchase a prohibited item, your order will be canceled.

IMPORTANT:
On July 23, 2026, the Trump additonal tariffs with a flat 10% fee (plus customs fees) ended. Starting July 24, 2026, the new Trump additional tariffs are calculated differently. The tariffs can be "stacked", meaning customs can charge more than one tariff on some items. All items have a base 12.5% section 301 forced labor tariff. In addition, some items may have 2018 section 301 tariffs, derivative tariffs (tariffs on materials like metals), or general tariffs (plus customs fees) also applied to the total tariff amount. Most tariffs range from about 12.5% - 25%, but some tariffs can be as high as 55% or so on certain items (plus customs fees).
