You received points by going to events, playing in tournaments, entering contests, answering surveys, quizzes, etc. When you reached the 2000EXP point level, you were awarded this set of 3 cards. The set contains these 3 cards:

Piplup #003/PPP
It was only available to Japanese residents. Not for sale in any toy stores, Pokemon Center, theme decks, sets, or booster packs. Out of production.
