Pokemon 1996 Starter Gift Box Set
Pokemon 1996 Starter Gift Box Set. This gift box set was sold only in Japan, back in December, 1996. It was the very first gift box ever made and one of the very first Pokemon items ever produced. The plastic wrap has been opened to take a picture, but it still has the plastic wrap. All the contents inside are all sealed. It also contains the very rare Ivy Pikachu and Jigglypuff promo cards which were the very first two Pokemon cards ever made. Out of production. The gift box contains:
2 Starter decks (Each contains 60 cards)
30 Damage counters
4 Markers
2 Pokemon coins (Chansey) (come inside the starter decks I believe)
1 Playmat
1 "How to play the Pokemon Card Game" booklet with Jigglypuff and Ivy Pikachu Cards
1 Instruction Booklet (In Japanese)

Condition: Never been played with. There is a couple of minor surface scratches on the box due to age that you can see if you tilt the box in the light a certain way, but the contents are all perfectly fine.
