Pokemon 2018 Thunderbolt Project Black Pikachu large size plush toy (Sitting Version). NOTE: THIS IS THE AUTHENTIC VERSION, NOT THE FAKE/BOOTLEG VERSION THAT IS SOLD ON EBAY & AMAZON. WATCH THE VIDEO TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE. It was NOT for sale in the Pokemon Center or any stores. It was only given out to staff and people who worked on the Thunderbolt Project. The Thunderbolt Project is a collaboration between FRGMT and Pokemon that featured designs by Hiroshi Fujiwara. There was an event that was held in Tokyo on October 20th, 2018 that showcased various merchandise. This Black Pikachu was used as a display for the event and was never for sale to the public. A very limited number of the black Pikachus were given out to people who worked at the event, sponsors, etc.

You will see fakes/bootlegs on Ebay and Amazon of this Pikachu, but this is the authentic one.

How to tell the difference between the authentic version and the fake/Bootleg version:

1. The price (The authentic version sells for over $300, the fake sells for $10-15.
2. The authentic version has the official Thunderbolt tush tag. The fake version has a fake Pokemon Center tag from 2016.
3. The authentic version is a dark black color, the fake version is gray.
4. The authentic version is bigger than the fake version.
5. The authentic version comes with a Thunderbolt Project drawstring bag. The fake version does not.

Comes with Thunderbolt Project drawstring bag. Made of soft material (polyester). This is a promotional item, so there is no paper tag (they were all made this way). NOTE: The way that this plush is made, it will not stand up on its own.
